Manhattan, NY
Venue: Don Hills

Last night was a great experience. First off, I would like to send much respect and support to J Hatch and the entire staff over at Inasirkl Music Group. I was really impressed with the turn out of the event.

Just to fill you guys in, I attended the "Get Your Buzz Up" Industry Showcase last night. It was actually my second time performing in Manhattan, NY within the last six months. I opened up previously before at the Time Square Performing Art Center alongside my great friend, during the Magazine release party presented by Ray Daniels of Drahma Magazine.

The grand prize for the winner of this event was $1000 cash, an email blast from Digiwaxx.com to 10,000 djs and industry contacts, a feature on Allhiphop.com, and many other great prizes.

Although, I didn't win anything from this showcase it was a great experience overall and also a great opportunity for me to get exposure, show my face, meet and greet, as well as a chance to showcase my talent in front of a panel of A-List judges. I was also fortunate to be in the presence of such big names. Before the show kicked off, the contestants as well as the audience got a chance to ask questions and vibe out with special guest, A & R's from Atlantic Records, Konvict Music, and Bad Boy Records.

Thanks to my hypeman and close friend, Nyce Franklin for coming out and rocking with me on stage. I was glad to bring him along and show him the ropes. I wanted to give him that opportunity to network and socialize with others and build his fan base. He seemed to enjoy his time as we laughed, supported the other artists' performances, and networked heavy with everyone in the venue. Also, can't forget. Got to save the best for last. I have the greatest supporting cast any artist can dream of. I want to give a special thanks to my management team, DMMG. My manager, Sadiq "Mr. Hollywood" Davies and my assistant, Dizzle. They're wonderful. And of course, never can I forget my number one fan. Thanks to my twin sister for coming out and supporting me on a school night. Much love to everyone on my end and much love to everyone that took part and contributed in the making of the event. Also, shouts out and much respect to all of the artists that were present at this event. Y'all all did y'all thing. Keep pushing is what I tell them. Keep chasing your dreams. Keep music alive!

Until the next time, it's Spohkes. That's my daily wrap up on what I been up to lately. Stay tuned for more and for everyone that's been supporting my music I really appreciate the love and support. I can't thank y'all enough. Look out fornew track "Me & My" produced by Vybez Beats.
